Dr. Christopher Harold Ross, MD, FACEP, FAAEM, FRCP(C), is a Professor of Emergency Medicine and an internationally recognized expert in airway management, vascular access, and medical safety. He currently serves as Global Medical Safety Director at Teleflex, where he leads clinical risk assessment, patient safety initiatives, and evidence generation to support innovation. With more than three decades of frontline clinical experience across academic and community hospitals, Dr. Ross has trained generations of emergency physicians as a faculty member at Rush Medical College and the University of Illinois College of Medicine. He has authored numerous peer-reviewed publications, book chapters, and procedural manuals, and has been invited to lecture and direct procedural courses worldwide. A Fellow of multiple emergency medicine societies, Dr. Ross has been honored with national and institutional awards for excellence in teaching, leadership, and patient care, reflecting his lifelong commitment to advancing the science and practice of emergency medicine.
